From what I read the dolphins catched by the Japanese have high enough mercury concentrations to be of actual health concern.
Significantly higher than in fish.

I can't eat tuna anymore, not only they're smarter than expected (they hunt cooperatively with dolphins, hence why dolphins are often caught with tuna) but most species are going extinct (and Japan has managed to keep them out of CITES).
