Ye can't shoot meteorites in the back. While they move the buggers are faster than yer bullits, an' when they stop they have no distinctive backside.

Like a frisbee. The meteorite would have its back to me, but the bendy arrow would curve round in mid air and attack from the front. Doh!

As said above, anything you can shoot will be slower than the meteorite while in flight. And once it stops the projectile would have to go through the ground to find the front side, if one could call any side front or back.

Actually the British Heart Foundation is supposed to be coming next week to collect masses of stuff, so I'll add the bendy arrows. They the BHF, are great as only one that collects (and free) and that is what I need due to difficulties getting out and carrying stuff, etc, also they take electrical goods which most other charities won't do. I've got stacks of computer stuff to go, like why on earth do I have two unopened - still plastic wrapped - wireless network receivers, etc. Mostly probably in case the spare one broke........... and so on.

What is the reason for bendy arrows in your possession?

I would imagine you can retrieve and reuse the arrows even if the victim falls on the pierced side, or in narrow spaces where the length of the arrow would make it difficult to retrieve it.
