Despite the clichéed comparisiosn of mammaries and melons, vampire watermelons are not classified as mammals.
As for the 'animals avoid zombies', that is textbook.
As for the werewolves, there was no moral judgement. Just the observation that they are not limited to a 100% liquid diet like the common vampire.
