It was autumn but still above 30°C. Sevilla is contender for hottest city in Europe and I had no choice about place and time. And the ways I had to go did not provide much in the way of shade. Fortunately I had enough clothes to change 2 or three times a day and the conference center had air conditioning.

Look, average yearly high in South FL is 29C with the distinction that the humidity rarely goes below 80%.

The heat in Seville is not necessarily dry since a river and a large canal run through town. And there was one of the rare drizzels which did little to lower temperature but drove humidity up. Oh, and the hotel had to adhere to state-imposed temporary saving protocols (water and energy), so air conditioning in the hotel rooms was reduced (and would not lower T below 24°C).
