As per expectation: theory flawless, practical exam failed. I'll apply for a new date  on Monday and this time with an hour of practical driving lessons before (which was not available this week).

Old rule: anything driving under its own power (however slow it may be) is my enemy, if I am supposed to steer it.
No pedal driven forklift available unfortunately.

Btw, given the huge number of accidents with forklifts each year, one should be scared of them. In properly run places nobody is supposed to walk where forklifts drive and vice versa.
