I've completely lost the thread of the LPWB now. The clues I read the other day meant nothing to me at all, and the ones I read just now mean nothing as well. I was thinking Gangster or Gangsters on one clue, but was sent in 3 other directions by other clues, with nothing much appearing to fit any more than one clue. I had thought of villain, which fits bad guys on the screen, and the third letter doubling up scenarios, but it's not 9 letters long, and vilain is a French word.

The thorns may be there to prevent (esp. youngsters) riding it. It does not impede what it is made for in the first place.
