But I still do not know where there are pies in the Just-so-Stories. Cakes yes, spots and patches yes, pies or otherwise circular ed-ed things, no.
Btw, it was not the Piper that got me there but the search for synonyms for 'colourful'. A look on the map showed me that a search there was futile since in 3.5 hours one could be in Praha or even Vienna, have reached the French border, catched the ferry to Copenhagen etc. all without going off-ground.

I did not notice the 'west' but east would have been unlikely anyway. I originally thought that the place name was supposed to be similar to the word. Not much chance of that in Eastern Germany, not to speak of Poland.
I was searching the Kiel area.
