Aggie, I did not think of Gargantua in this context and there is no connection that would help you but there is something in that chapter that is the same category as the LPWB.
The allusion to the famous landlady song was not a clue by itself, just an analogy around how many corners one would have to think to come from the LPWB to obscenity.

Where you can find the LPWB, you might find witches too (at least at certain times of the year).

You forget something: the LPWB word looks like something that could be used as a transport but it is not. It also looks like something many people hate due to an invisible property but it is this thing neither.

Maybe the seasonal witches can help you.

Many will look for the LPWB underground but this is another misconception.

According to tradition all Finns, Sami (Lapps) and Inuit (Eskimo) are wizards. And at the time of the great witch craze they were treated under the name of witches, although almost exclusively male. Under the Northern Germanic people on the other hand magic was women's work. in pre-Christian times the use of magical practices by males was 'ergi', which was one of three accusations that had to be answered immediately by demanding a public duel (to the death). Failing to do so led to also immediate exclusion from the community. 'ergi' does not mean magic but 'unmanliness'.
