Above 25% oxygen it gets unhealthy (longterm). I did not look up the numbers but I think I remember that spontaneous combustion may occur above about 30% (at normal pressure of course). In other words, aerobic organisms on Earth are able to cope with the current levels but it takes a lot of biochemical effort and we could not stand much more stress on that front.

In the age of the giant insects (long before the dinosaurs), oxygen content reach an alltime maximum. It is assumed that massive fires after thunderstorms were a regular feature of the time. Maybe mitigated only by the also very high humidity. It was life on the edge. A bit further and life on land may have become impossible again.
