You can fly to Nassau* from many locales including Fort Lauderdale and I can assure you that there is no snow around here.

Isn't the first stanza quite divided about loyalty? The king is from a place outside of the Netherlands. It' not clear whether the fatherland is Germany or Holland, and he declares that he always honored the king of Spain.
