For a strictly repetitive polymer the naming is shortened by use of numerals. DNA would not fall in that category.
But look for the systematic names of fullerenes!

I wonder how a certain fast food company became what it is today given that its ads were (or should have been) primary inducers of the LPWB.

Easy, if one has read both Fast Food Nation and It (although I reckon that the movie had more to do with it than the latter book - haven't watched that).

Word in, if allowed.  It's a short (<5 click) Wiki-fu wander from the last word (Coulro.phobia) and a version of it is associated with an American alternative rock band, of great influence to their specific genre, which operated most notably over two decades ago, but over the span of at least two decades.

You are, however, looking for the dictionary term which should have some level of awareness in society, as opposed to either the band's version or the expanded scientific term (which the wiki article uses as a title).

That should be enough clues to get you to the LPWB*, easy peasy.

Currently not the slightest idea.

Btw, 'stupid for the pound' was of course an allusion to Pennywise, the evil clown from It

Ah, that's what you were on about - the normal expression is 'pound foolish' I think (ask the UK sibs, I'm only a Commonwealth rat ;)).
