LOL, heard a discussion on CBC today comparing (the current crop of) vampire romances with Amish romances aka 'bonnet rippers'.

The Wittenburg Door had a 10-point list of Amish Youngsters Gone Wrong;
one was "pictures of girls without bonnets in his sock drawer".

As with vampires, relatives come first. I have relatives of the sucking evangelical kind but they are fortunately far away enough to minimise the effect. Although my parents have rather conservative religious views, they do not try to impose them forcefully*.
