I suppose I need to clue, then...  the word has nothing to do with the last LPWB, but may be linked somewhat with an earlier LPWB.

Googling it seems to indicate (surprisingly) a strong link with fantasy RPGs.

Breaking the word up into parts gives a word indicating payment for a service, and a slang term for shiny symbols of conspicuous consumption, plus a couple of letters left over.
