Be happy that they failed to make it more 'family friendly' (=Disneyfied). After HPatPoA there were complaints that the series was going 'too dark'.
If they had followed that advice, they would have spoiled it completely. Part 5 suffered from being too short. Splitting there might have been useful. Part 6 manages but barely.

The problem with HP printers is that one cannot reach the parts where paper gets stuck.

I read in todays papers that in NY watching (and following the plot of) 'New Moon' was near impossible since any time Pattinson appeared on the screen (or the werewolf dropped his shirt or Bella lay in the arms of the one or the other) uncounted teenie girls began to squeal ecstatically (instead of quietly and appropriately swooning  ) endangering the ears of everyone in attendance and blocking out the dialogue.
Pattinson himself is quoted as having difficulty to comprehend that behaviour ("they seem to have somehow lost the difference between actor and role"*)

Which amuses me, since she wasn't bitten until well after she lost her virginity to Edward. She had to be ripped apart by their demon spawn (aka Nessie) before he would turn her.

Well, Ginny in HP and the Chamber of Secrets also found herself covered with feathers and did not know where those had come from. It is claimed that it had something to do with that 'basilisk' and that 'Tom Riddle' guy. The king snake? Talk about phallic symbols. And a mysterious former headboy nobody has seen for some time? I wonder, if Mrs. Rowling told us the whole truth either. And don't forget those vibrating wands
