I'm not a royal watcher, but Harry's been training out here lately (our trashball local Sun newspaper has been front-paging him every day); according to the morning papers, he's hit a local - I'm going to say a low, but some Calgary lads would call it a high - hooking up with the Cowboys* bartender(s).  Who promptly took a $30,000 payout from a UK tabloid and are now apparently going to 'approach men's magazines' to 'advance their modelling careers'.

::)

Within a 5-block radius of my apartment.  >:(

*Calgary's much-hyped craptastic nightclub.  Decor is pretty much like the inside of a barn, and the behaviour of the patrons is similar.  Surprisingly, it's not the most white-trash venue in town.

The same one who goes to fancy dress parties, I suppose?   ::)

That lad need a whuppin'.  The only thing a royal needs to do well (IMO) is try to refrain from from making an arse of themself - how come relatively few manage to learn this skill?

Everyone is due to make an arse of himself eventually, we all did at some point of our lives (and very often in our youth).

The problem is, that when we make arses of ourselves, we're not interesting for the media, but when you have dozens of reporters/photographers on your back, the probability that you do something stupid in front of them is very high...

Another problem is, that even the royals are just people. Not everybody can handle the fame, the money etc. Especially not at the age of 22.

There have been few generations without a Royal prince misbehaving. Why break with tradition?

Although, if Charles counts as tradition... :D

Very traditional. Even had the same teacher as our left wing party's leader; how socialist can you get :-)

Prince Philip's my favourite.  At a time when all the ex rock star celebrities are busy parading their right-on sensitivities and preening their public image he just calls things exactly how he sees them and hang the consequences.
Agree or disagree with him, I find that rather cool.
