What are you planning?

I was going to write in "what are you wearing?" but I found myself having to explain why I was wearing red fingernail and toenail polish.

This weekend, a local winery is having a "Lucy Stomp", in which people stomp grapes with their bare feet, dressed as characters from "I Love Lucy". Thank heavens I made a good friend during summer theater who is zany enough to do this with me. She's a redhead, so she gets to be Lucy. I am Ethel because I'm more, well--- Ethel all over, quite frankly. I figured that if Ethel had to appear with bare feet, she would have done her nails.

There are wine prizes for best look-alikes and volume of grape juice stomped. Since I'm a big fan of wine, there's not much I wouldn't attempt in order to win some. especially from this winery. They specialize in Italian-style wines and they are quite good.

What are you planning?

Darlica

I'm planning my move, I went to the landlord and signed the termination ( ? I don't know the right word for this) of my leasing contract for the flat. I'll officially move out the 31 January 08.

That's the right word. But not a fun situation.  :(

I used to move every other year or so. Now that I've been firmly planted in the same place for 16 years, it is appalling to me the amount of dust that accumulates behind things that do not get picked up and shuffled around all the time!

Darlica

Yay! I got it right! ;)

Well, I'm also making plans for tomorrow. I'm going to see a friend I haven't seen since April. :)

Tomorrow I buy food and go to the post office to post my tax return. Sunday I tidy my computer desk. Then I am ready for my gastroscopy on Monday. Oh and did I say, most of the weekend I shall be asleep?

I'm planning to NEVER allow Dan to be gone for more that 48 hours EVER again until the END OF TIME.

I have one vehicle with a bad tire (won't hold air) and one with an about to die fuel pump. And it's end-of-month time. Oh, and the vehicle with the bad tire? The air compressor won't work with its power source, only with the one from the OTHER car, so I can't drive it and then stop and air it up if I need to on the way, because it won't work in that car...

I remember that I used to be able to handle this stuff. What happened?

I plan to start my Master's course on Monday morning. And a diet, also Monday morning. (Fell off diet wagon last week. I have no willpower.)

It is certainly shaping up to be a heck of a week for southern USA vehicles-- sibling chatty's are both being nasty and yesterday mine got really hot(up into the red zone) so I took it to a mechanic(why don't they just use a gun-at least it'd feel better) anyway after messing around for an hour they decided what was wrong (some bare wires cross shorting out the fan thereby burning out the coolant temperature sensor) and how to fix, parts place sent a sensor- wrong one, sent another- still wrong, third time - well 3rd times a charm, got it on and the  :censored: :censored: :censored: car won't  :censored: start--- no fire to the sparkplugs.
He hummed around it until 7pm ( I got their at noon) and still couldn't get it going- so I'm bumming from my mother and she is they type that makes you feel like shit because she has to help you (everytime she acts this way I swear I'll never take off work again to take her ..... or sleep in a hospital room chair after another of her operations...... or buy food and cook for her... or--- but I do because I believe that if we don't take care of our family then we fail the human race. But she makes it difficult.
So either the mechanic did something to further butter his bread or just a clusterfuck situation (the car is 12 years old and should probably be shot).
But darn it!!! My car was running and starting and a daily driver until yesterday-- all it was doing was starting to overheat some and yesterday got way too hot to drive, as in ok now I absolutely have to take it in.

Oh sorry ----  :censored:
I'm planning a new budget for myself-- time to do so- some changes in things and gotta get things lined up. I'd like to get rid of my house in the next year or so and move into an apartment in a town somewhere (preferrably Tucson or Flagstaff) but Little Rock would do for a bit-I've promised my youngest daughter that we'll stay put until she graduates from her HS so at least a year.

I'm also planning to run away from home--- seriously.
If you see me hitchiking- please stop and pick me up-I'm only slightly crazy and I'll even drive us.

Lol, nice.

I am planning to do laundry for work, and then go to work at one. I am also planning to do my homework for once.

I am planning to sleep. No. Correction. I am planning to stay awake long enough to go to sleep.

G :censored:ood plan. I'll adopt it.

Better than planning for TWO days of all doctor's appointments, all the time, for Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

Lifting the wheelchair in and out of the van 3 times in one day should incapacitate me nicely.

Oh, year, Chemo shot on Wednesday... :censored:

Without the shot...even the Lomotil doesn't really work against the other.

I am in the middle of planning my escape (moving out) of my evil rommate apartment's... got a car on friday and now I am able to check my options :D

Plus, well Pagan pride in my area is friday and I am planning my visit... It actually feels a little "commercial" to organize such event... I personally feel that the following the Old Religion should much more private...

why am i going? for the vendors... I am hoping to find some interesting things i have been looking for and only on this occasion all the vendors get together in one place os i don't have to run all over the city :D

My long term plan regards a visit to Disneyworld in November or february to celebrate my daughter and how special she is!

Is it enough planning?  :dragon: :kisshands:
