Where are you in Google?   It's fair to use any one of your pseudonyms, of course.  Especially as those are far more likely to get "googled" than other information is.

I googled "Toadfish Monastery" and found that my Topix profile is roughly 5th from the top.

I googled "Bob of Quantum Faith" and my Topix profile was #1.

I suppose this is a result of how Topix posts things-- a link to your profile is included with each post, if you're registered.

I checked, and as of this writing, I am only 70 posts short of 8,000 posts in just over a year on Topix.  (Yeah, I know-- I do need to get out more...)

But, due to the way that Google uses links to rank a search result, my 8,000 posts translated into a high listing for my topix profile.

It's not that I set out to do this-- I didn't, it was quite accidental.

I only just discovered it today, when searching for "Toadfish Monastery".

goat starer  #1 but not I fear from this site. I start with the BBC H2G2 and sports pages, then my Steam ID (too much counter strike), then TOP - several times.

just in case anyone is interested my current counter strike stats are there. ranked 30 out of several thousand....

I am also described as a "divine intervention" on page 8 which is pretty big billing to live up to!

I'm the 8th hit on Darlica and it is all from forums I no longer visit, on page 4 there are a link to my flickr page. I can't find any link to the Monastery though. I would have liked to have been further down the list I sort of like flying in the grass.

When I first took the name I found nothing when I gooled it now there is 2020 hits in google,

Which is just as well, as that is one of the reason I use several web pseudonyms.

Earthling FSM yields a couple of posts at the CoFSM site by someone who is not me - perhaps that's why I chose ET there, I don't remember.
Earthling Toadfish gives a link to the pirate bible project, which is interesting since I haven't posted there.
