Mine's a (pissed-off) Great Horned Owl I encountered on Wednesday... here's more pics.

What is it?  I call mine a "big car"...   2.4 L of engine and a Sonata platform doesn't make it an SUV. 

WOW. "View the most recent posts on the forum" makes reviewing the latest posts a snap.  This will make modding and smiting a breeze.

Oi miss the Pirates!  They've gone silent on Venganza as well.  They won't have the "mythology" link here, but that's hardly needed with those lads and wenches, as they've created their own.  If the Toadfish hold to the sea floor, the top o' waves be open for plunderin'!

I swapped templates (millenium earth) and now most of the links are buggered, I can't get to the shoutbox, and I can't see a template selector.  Help!

The discrepancy in the Monastery isn't so much a case of an imbalance between Earth/Abrahamic religions, but compared to the upper forums there's relatively few straight-up contrarian atheists.  You're probably bang on about the contemplative part.

The combination of self-direction and humility before the greatness of the universe at large seems to be the common thread between the Toadfish mentalities and these beliefs.

Don't know if I count myself as one of the "Earth religion" types, although most of the 'secular' aspects of such religion appeal strongly to me.  I'd rather be out wandering through a forest than pretty much any other place (except maybe swimming through the corals), getting to know the plants and animals.

Autotheism + HSMism pretty much are the two components of the first sentence of these posts.

I also think Sibling Grumpy's use of 'mental models' is pretty much in line with how I use my beliefs to understand and manipulate the world, although he doesn't have my need to bluster, label and trumpet my beliefs all over Creation...
