I've just discovered we can buy and print stamps for our letters and parcels online.

They even  provide a comparison weight chart so you can guess the weight of your packet - but then advise you not to guess.

The comparison chart should provide an interesting piece of social history if it survives.

Ayuh, 110 g for the basic disc, and then about 70 MB/g after that. 

Actually, I was surprised to see the DVD come out heavier than the cell phone.
