Was that back when Tom DeLay NEEEEDED a raise, because inflation was 'eating away at his purchasing power"?

AKA, the time I called his local office (where they knew my name and winced when I called) and told 'em to tell Jack-Ass Boy (his brother's nickname for him when they were kids) that my $457 a month Social Security check was feelin' that inflation as well, and could he see about a few bucks a month for the elderly and disabled as well??
