Today's Pharyngula had a link to a criminal record on-line database. Pharyngula article link

It's disturbing to me how simple it is to search.

And, they have included minor traffic violations-- lumped in there with rape, murder, violence, etc, etc, etc.

I hope they get their collective pants sued off, even if it is "in the public domain".

The interwebs is just too aether-like for such information.  This information ought to be moderately difficult to obtain, or at least behind a fee, so that the person inquiring has a good reason to know.

It just continues to support the notion that "once a criminal, always a criminal" and helps keep people from EVER returning to society..... why should they bother?  With such things like this so readily available...

Sometimes, the real journey can only be taken by making a mistake.
