I bought this plant at Valentine's (yeah, ok it was my gift to myself :D)... I kept it inside given the merciless temperatures of Nashville these days...
It was exposed to direct sunshine 4-5 hours a day...and I water it 2 times a week...
But its leaves are turning grey green and loose energy and go soft like they are lacking water and then they dry up and die...
part of the pant is like that and the other half is still fine...
What can I do??? can I save it? is there a way!!!!????

Lavender is hard to grow indoors, as it needs at least 8 hours of sunlight per day. You may be able to save it if you can get it outdoors. Prune off the dead parts all the way down to the next healthy stem, re-pot in a sandier soil if necessary (it is a Meditteranian plant- try to make it like Italy, there), water in and let dry between waterings. Then introduce it to outdoors slowly, starting in an area that is protected from too much wind or cold. Baby it there for a week or two before setting it into a final positiion.
