My son works in the financial centre of Sydney, but he is currently home asleep -- that is until I woke him up to find that out, forgetting about the time difference - Woops.

It was still going on when I rang him. I am glad it ended but it didn't end for the two hostages who died. The perpetrator always seems to get killed, or kill themselves in these affairs; I always feel I wish they could be punished but it's sort of like they get away with it somehow.
