Roll up, roll up. Try your luck in the Competition Thread.

And our first Daft Competition is:

Which thread has been read the most times?  Tell us the title of the thread and how many times it has been read. Competition will close at unspecified time. Answers will be judged on accuracy and merit.

Next daft competition.

If we visited the birth countries of Dead Poet, Sibling Aggie and Sibling Zono (Anon1mato), how many oceans would we have to cross??

(This contest expires sometime before the end of the century.)

I'm guessing this is a trick question. Does it involve borders being closed? Given the time limit on entries it seems it might the way things are going.

Just one.  They're all the same ocean. yes? :D

It IS a trick question.

Ignore the borders, just the waters.

Yes, they're all one ocean, but Bob's answer isn't technically correct.

You would have to cross the Atlantic ocean.

Now DD says they are all one ocean. There's clearly a clue in the word all.

It's more than one ocean that merges into one bigger expanse of ocean.

Possibly layered vertically.  :-\

The big question is, who can remember, from a former location, where Dead Poet was born??

(Hint. Not in a country that's a member of the EU.)

Sounds like Location, Location, Location (a UK TV show).

Does Dead Poet remember where he was born?

I was driving across Russia once, without a map as they were not allowed, and hit a sea. No idea which until I got home. But then I ignored Geography in school. I didn't even know there were seas anywhere round there. But that was a sea not an ocean.

Hitting seas seems a bit unplanned, tis true...

DP does remember where he was born.

(Clue to answer. OR maybe answer... You cross no oceans, only a canal.)

Not a 'Route Canal', I hate route canals!

Panama?

Yaaaarrrr.

Ye cross no oceans, seas, etc.

Only the Panama Canal.

Two of the three were born on the North American continent, one on the South American!!

And the next Daft Competition?? Other that some of the ones taking place in US polling places??
