Flurries today. Frost warning here tonight.

A'Babe- some years ago we got a frost warning in May! I went out and stapled paper bags over all the iris buds in my yard. It looked like Christo had been here!

We are springlike here this week ~ 14C in the days and sunny.  Niiiiice.

Just waiting for the April Mega-Dump of Snow (and hoping there's only one.... and hoping that there's not 2 weeks straight of snow in May like last year).

Tonight it is cold enough for a jacket--- but no mega snows forecast here-- we'd all die- people about these parts freak over flurries even.

We're having rain, too. But that's good, 'cause I just planted the lettuce out yesterday that I had started on the windowsill. Now it has to get warm so I can get in the 'maters.

Still kinda dreary here, but hopefully we'll have our last cold night tomorrow. Then it's 'mater planting time! My little babies have been hardening off for weeks on the front porch and are probably poking their roots through the pot-bottoms.

We did have some very nice autumn weather for a while here, about zero degrees and crisp clear days.
This has now changed to over a week of about +6, windy, and pouring rain. "Lovely" weather for working outside, which I do a lot. Arrrrgh! Give me cold, give me snow, give me just about anything but this endless rain and fog!
